It’s New Year’s Eve and I’m just hanging with friends. Snow has started to fall around my area, which is both a welcoming and depressing sight, the latter because it didn’t snow on Christmas. I’ve added a bit on The World at the wiki, but have otherwise spent the day watching anime movies with my friends. This is one of those reviews I didn’t want to post, because the show was a bit hard on me, for various reasons.

Hero defeats bad guy. Good triumphs over evil. The end. Or, at least that’s how it usually goes. But what happens after the hero goes home? Our hero, Akatsuki Ousawa, is about to find out that sometimes the greatest adventure starts once happily ever after ends.

K-Project Afterword

Apologies to those that have been waiting for these posts faithfully, I’ve been slowly itching them up late, but I feel the quality of the post as a whole is much better. Expect another afterword after this and then a New Year’s announcement, I don’t expect to write a post for the 2nd, as I may have Xewleer post then. I’m still workin on goals to have an afterword of Summer series (all except a few) done before the 14th of this month. A series preview may be coming this week as well.

Set in a world where history has taken a slightly different course from the one we’re familiar with, K follows the story of a young boy whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings.
Ashinaka High School is known for its unique setting: the entire campus is built on an island. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro, is having lunch with a cat on one of the school rooftops. After his lunch break, Shiro goes on an errand for his classmate Kukuri to prepare for their upcoming school festival, only to be chased by some intimidating-looking men.

Apologies for the lack of talk much lately, I’ve spent much of my free time either Cardfighting, relaxing, or catching up on series. I’ve been pumping out Afterwords after Afterwords in an effort to do a massive catch up on relevant series before the next season hits in a few weeks. Expect a season preview in the next few days as well. Xewleer is working on a story and other mini-projects, so expect some stuff from him too.

Since 1973, an invasion of aliens known as BETA upon Earth is driving human civilization into nearly collapse. Facing an enormous mass of enemy force, mankind has developed large humanoid arms called as Tactical Surface Fighters and deployed them to its defense lines through out the world. However, all those efforts could slow down defeats but could not stop BETA, and mankind is forced to abandon major area of the Eurasian Continent. For 30 years, mankind is bogged down in an endless war against BETA without any hopes of victory.
In 2001, the Imperial Japan faces difficulties in the development of a next-generation main Tactical Surface Fighters (TSF) as it defends the front lines of the Far East. The UN has proposed a joint development program between the Imperial Japan and the United States as a part of its international mutual development project of TSF, the Prominence Project.
Yui Takamura, a surface pilot of the Imperial Royal Guards of Japan, is given responsibility for the project and sets off to Alaska. Meanwhile, Yuya Bridges, also a surface pilot of the US Army, was heading to the same destination.
Yet they never knew that their encounter would change their destiny drastically.
This story with exciting human dramas and robot actions takes place in the development of a new Tactical Surface Fighters, the most important and effective weapons against BETA, at a crisis of human extinction.

Yūta Togashi is a boy who, during junior high school, had ‘adolescent delusions’ (中二病 chūnibyō?, lit. “junior high school second grade illness”), believing that he possesses supernatural powers and dubbing himself the ‘Dark Flame Master,’ therefore alienating himself from his classmates. Finding his past embarrassing, Yūta attempts to start off high school where he does not know anyone, free from his old delusions. This proves to be difficult, however, as a delusional girl in his class, Rikka Takanashi, learns of Yūta’s past and becomes interested in him.

As the plot progreses Rikka becomes more attached to Yūta, who despite finding her delusions irritating and embarrassing, accepts her. He helps Rikka with a number of things, including founding and maintaining her club and tutoring her. When he joins her on her summer vacation, Yūta learns that when Rikka was very young her father, whom she was very close to, died unexpectedly due to a terminal illness, causing her to fall into her delusions. After Yūta agrees to help Rikka search for the ‘eternal horizon’ (which she believes will lead her to her father) she becomes romantically interested in him and vice versa.

Merry Christmas 2012

Cross-Over.full.1375364

“It doesn’t matter how boring it is, a simple gift is the beginning of a new story.”

Merry Christmas to everyone and to all a good night.

In the year 2022, the Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG), Sword Art Online (SAO), is released. With the Nerve Gear, a virtual reality helmet that stimulates the user’s five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds.

On November 6, 2022, all the players log in for the first time, and subsequently discover that they are unable to log out. They are then informed by Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of SAO, that if they wish to be free, they must reach the 100th floor of the game’s tower and defeat the final boss. However, if their avatars die in-game, their bodies will also die in the real world. The story follows Kirito, a skilled player who is determined to beat the game.

Story chapters: Ringrun

I’ve been working on a new story recently. Sadly, it’s not connected to the world. I’d have to force it for it to work, and I don’t think I’d be able to finish it if it wasn’t natural. Continue reading
